What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us. When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company, and message so we can respond to your inquiry. When you enter your email in one of our free tools, we receive the details described below under "Free tools and lead capture."

Free tools and lead capture

We publish free self-assessment tools, including our SPRS, SOC 2, POA&M, DFARS, and incident readiness tools. If you enter your work email in one of these tools, we collect your email address, company name if you provide it, a summary of your results (score and top gaps), and the page address. This information is stored in our database and used to email you your results summary and occasional follow-up messages about your results. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all follow-ups immediately. We do not sell this information.

Our tools also store your answers in your own browser (localStorage) so your progress is saved between visits. That data stays on your device. It is sent to us only if you submit a lead form.

How we use it

We use contact form submissions solely to respond to your inquiry and, if a business relationship follows, to communicate about that work. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

Email delivery

Contact form messages are delivered to us through our email service provider. Lead capture emails, including results summaries and follow-ups, are sent through our email delivery provider. The contents of your messages are transmitted for those purposes only.

Data retention

We keep inquiry records only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations, then delete them.

Your rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new date.
